**Ask him to continue till 2031

For his sterling performance and administrative acumen, which has endear him to the general public especially his aides cutting across the three senatorial districts of the state, the forum of special Advisers in the Administration of governor Bassey Edet Otu, has passed a vote of confidence on him and ask him to continue till 2031.
The forum churn out cutting edge infrastructural developments in the areas of provision of public amenities, to the renovation and revamping of decayed industries and institutions, to building of first class health centres, to construction of interlinking roads, name it.
According to the Chairman of the Forum, Barr Ekpenyong Akiba, who is the special advisor on General Duties and Administration, stated that the governor has far far pass the bar, his sterling performance has shock everyone including his critics. He pointed to the ongoing infrastructural construction, economic rejuvenation and diversification, improvement in security which has lured investors to the State as evidence of the governor’s commitment to the progress of the state and it people. With this, as his principal aides, it is their duty to come out and say it as it is, so that the world will know, especially those who don’t want to see, and appreciate the governor.

collaborating and sponsoring
growth-oriented programs for
Cross River State.
He also mentioned the
governor’s interventions on
transport Infrastructure with
a complete road overhaul
adding that some roads
were no more, but now alive,
improving living condition
and adding value to the environment.
He particularly, mentioned
the 12km Akamkpa-Oban
Road construction, Parliamentary extension road,
30km Adiabo-Creek town
bridge completion and road
construction as well as the
Bakassi Deep Seaport.

Gilbert Agbor, Special Adviser
on Assets Management, said
that governor Otu’s developmental strides in the Central
Senatorial District had transformed lives and built prosperity.
Governor Bassey Otu’s administration has also ushered
in a new era of development
in the Central Senatorial
District of Cross River State,
significantly improving infrastructure, healthcare, agriculture, and rural electrification.
He highlighted major road projects in Ikom, Ugep, and Obubra, the construction of a ₦470 million General Hospital in Ikom, and the revival of Songhai Farms and the Starch Processing Factory, which are creating jobs and boosting agricultural productivity.
On electrification, Barr. Agbor noted that the government’s partnership with the Federal Government’s Rural Electrification Agency has brought solar power to several communities, improving security and economic activities. He assured residents that Governor Otu remains committed to delivering on his promises and positioning Cross River as an economic powerhouse.
Raphael Adoka, Special Adviser on Project Monitoring and Evaluation, highlighted significant developments in the northern senatorial district, noting that major roads in Ogoja Local Government Area have been constructed, while others are awarded for construction, easing business operations for farmers.
He also mentioned that the Obudu international cargo airport is 90% complete and poised to compete with world-class airports.
In Yala, a bridge to enhance connectivity has been contracted, and numerous healthcare centers have been renovated in the northern central district.
At the end of their presentation, the Special Advisers led by it chairman, Barr Ekpenyong Akiba, raised two motions which aided them to arrived at a successful ending.
